International Downstream Conference & Exhibition 2025

Under the patronage of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, the International Downstream Conference & Exhibition (IDCE 2025) was held at Exhibition World Bahrain in Sakhir from September 30 to October 2, 2025.

Organized by the Gulf Downstream Association (GDA), the event gathered more than 150 leading energy companies from 53 countries, including EnergyTech, which showcased its role as a regional leader in energy sector training. The institute presented its programs and capabilities to over 6,000 visitors, welcoming senior executives and representatives from prominent organizations across the industry.

EnergyTech also participated as a primary sponsor of Youth Pulse, a program dedicated to empowering young people to become the next generation of industry leaders.
As part of the Youth Pulse activities, Mr. Bassam Al-Bokhhari, CEO of EnergyTech, led a panel discussion titled “The 10 Rules of Success,” while Ms. Rasha Al-Buskitah, Quality Assurance Analyst, conducted a workshop titled “Emotional Intelligence: The Key to Personal and Professional Success.”

The conference marked a significant milestone for EnergyTech, as it received first and second place at the IDCE Excellence Awards in the Talent Development category for Best Talent Development Program. The Accelerated Competency Transformation for Engineers (ACT-Eng.) program earned first place, while the Vocational Training Program secured second place—a testament to the quality and impact of EnergyTech’s training initiatives.

Overall, IDCE 2025 provided an exceptional platform to foster collaboration, strengthen networks with national and international energy companies, and explore the latest innovations shaping the future of the downstream industry.
