Strategy Drive Sustainable Growth Launch

On September 10, 2024, EnergyTech launched its new strategy that aligns with its new identity launched earlier this year, in the presence of the energy sector’s companies, most prominent figures, executives, managers, and representatives in the region.

The event was held in the Grand Ballroom, Grand Hyatt Al Khobar Hotel.

The new strategy reflects EnergyTech’s future direction to fulfill the Energy sector’s evolving requirements. It is also aligned with Vision 2030, which focuses on human capital development and the National Energy Strategy.

As Eng. Ahmed M. Al-Zahrani, Assistant to the Minister of Energy for Development and Excellence and Chairman of EnergyTech’s Board of Trustees, highlighted in his speech that the institute’s objective is to positively impact the energy sector globally by equipping the industry with a qualified Saudi workforce.

The foundation of the strategy will support achieving the goal, as it emphasizes promoting sustainability, driving change, and facilitating growth and expansion.

Mr. Bassam Al Bokhari, EnergyTech’s CEO, also stated that the institute’s transformation was a crucial phase in its journey towards excellence supported by the strategy’s five pillars: enhancing operational excellence, creating stakeholder value, delivering growth, empowering local community, and transforming business.

During the event, EnergyTech signed a training support agreement with HRDF to train 2500trainees, reflecting EnergyTech’s commitment to equip the energy sector with a qualified work force. The event witnessed a training agreement signing with the industry most prominent companies, Bin Quraya, Star, Expertise, and Gas Arabian Services, as part EnergyTech’s training program.

The event also witnessed a new collaboration involving signing an MOU between EnergyTech and RelyOn Nutec to establish a training center for Survival, Safety and Advanced Firefighting.

EnergyTech’s new expansion strategy led to an MOU signing with TVTC to establish a new training institute in the western region that serves the energy sector.

All agreements and MOU signing reflected EnergyTech’s ambitions to reach out to new heights. Since its inception in 2008 by the Ministry of Energy, the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC), Saudi Arabian Chevron, Saudi Aramco, and Aramco Gulf Operations. EnergyTech underwent several phases that led to its evolution during each stage.

The new strategy demonstrates EnergyTech’s commitment to excellence and innovation in the energy sector and its deep interest in reshaping the industry’s future.
